Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET Round 1 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 2308 and the closing rank was 2308 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of home state. Admission to MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research is based on the scores obtained in the NEET entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut-offs.

In 2017, Shri Guru Ram Rai University was founded. It is the biggest educational facility that offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programmes. The University Grants Commission has approved the college, which is situated in Uttarakhand's Dehradun area. The college offers courses in business, arts & sciences, pharmacy, philosophy, and administration at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Candidates who passed MBBS with 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for this course. KGMU MD admissions are done based on the NEET PG entrance exam scores, which is conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE).

The University has released the combined placement data for PG (3-year) Medical courses. A total of 114 PG (3-year) students graduated in 2023. Out of these, 109 students were placed successfully.
