Yes, you should have more than 7 CGPA in engineering. But, if you have more than 8 CGPA, then it is easy to get admission in good university.

Hello Abhilash, Your CGPA of 7.4 is definitely very good. In normal circumstances or rather in Indian circumstances you would definitely get admission based on such good scoring. However getting admission in universities or Institutions abroad is totally different cup of tea. There are many nuances to admission process, your social footprint, your extra curricular activities, your future orientation of life etc. These are few but important criteria adopted for giving admission. You have to first complete your graduation. After completing your graduation, you have to give IELTS exam, which is language based exam. You have to clear this exam with at least 6 band. After that, you are eligible for taking admission.
