The departmental electives are divided into three categories in the NIT Patna integrated MSc in Chemistry curriculum. Each category has four subjects in it. Mentioned below are some of the departmental electives offered by the institute:

Considering the placements Bhavans College is not that apt as there are only 30-35% of the students gets placements. The college is still struggling to operate its placement cell fully. However, the facilities and infrastructure of the college help the students a lot to improve their skills.

Certainly, having earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree is sufficient for someone interested in enrolling for M.Sc program in Food Chemistry at Loyola College. Loyola College runs another program known as Master of Science (M.Sc) whose focus is on Food Chemistry as well as Food Processing that takes two years to complete at the postgraduate level.This equips the aspirants with vital knowledge on food chemistry and processing giving them a firm foundation to build upon.

  2. IITs ( prefer old ones as compared to new)
  3. IISER, NISER ( you can apply for IntPhD here but option of leaving with MS is always open)

  5. Colleges like DU and BHU
