Since you have scored 79 marks in the CUET PG exam, you may not be eligible for admission to M.Sc. Chemistry in a govt college through CUET PG.
However, you can try other entrance exams or apply for private colleges that accept CUET PG scores.
Besides, depending on the state, there are certain eligibility criteria in certain colleges. Also, you can get admission based on reservation category.

Your CUET PG of 97 is pretty good. But it is not high enough to get guaranteed admission to M.Sc Chemistry at DU. In 2022, the cut-off for M.Sc Chemistry was 100 for the general category and 95 for the reserved category. Your graduation percentage of 60% is also below the minimum requirement of 65% for an M.Sc Chemistry at DU. However, there are few colleges at DU that allow students with a graduation percentage of 60%.

How many seats are available saurastra university for M.sc chemistry? There are around 60 seats available.
Students must score at least 50% - 60% in graduation from a recognized university to be eligible to apply for the MSc Chemistry course. MSc in Chemistry is a 2-year postgraduation course. BHU, Chandigarh University, Delhi University, Hansraj College, Miranda House, etc.

According to the cut off of 2022, mimimum marks required for admission in Allahabad University under OBC category is 174 and above.

Hey as per the new education policy 2020 you can take the mixture of many subjects while doing your graduation in any particular subject. But as IIT Roorkee has not completely implemented this new policy so you have to take mathematics as compulsory in 10+2 along with chemistry.
