No, usually a candidate needs to appear for the CUET-PG exam for getting admission in M.Sc. at the University of Delhi, at the Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute. For most of the postgraduate courses, it has become a requirement for entering into University of Delhi; similarly for this course of Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute as well. Admission is given on the basis of this examination, followed by a counseling or interview process. Candidates who do not attend the CUET-PG are not eligible for admission. Official notifications must be updated for any changes.

Delhi University offers full-time MSc in multiple specialisations from a number of DU-affiliated colleges. The duration of the programme is two years. Starting 2023, DU admission to all the PG courses will be subject to CUET PG scores seat allotment.
