Yes you can do. The LPU offers M.Sc. Hons. In Physics and the eligibility criteria is given below. Eligibility criteria : Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) (with Physics and Maths) or B.Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering ) or equivalent.

Yes, distance education is valid for the government. Jobs, If this is done from recognized Boards and Universities. The UPSC, State PCS, and other government. Departments are accepting the distance degrees for employment. Further, distance degrees are also acceptable in government. Teaching jobs if the board has not specified the education mode.
