Universities insist Bachelors degree in Science (Physics / bio / chemistry / Zoology / Botany / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Applied Medical Sciences / Biotechnology) / engineering / pharmacy / medicine / BDS for admission. Percentage in last qualified exam (B.Sc/B.Tech/BDS/B.Pharma) required for admission for M.Sc. May vary university to university. In reputed institutes, admission is through entrance exam, where as in other institutes, you can take direct admission. Lovely Professional University Jalandhar, Premier Forensic Science Institute

All the courses mentioned by you have there own pros and cons. Biochemistry will lead to research in biochemistry industry, pharmaceutical, medical laboratories, etc. Chemistry will help you to get a job in chemical, pharmaceutical, goods processing, dairy, forensic, etc. Biotech is an emerging and very promising field. Civil Services Examination can be given after any of the above fields. Select the course that you want to make a career in. Mention your subject of interest to help you further.
