Hi Shubhi!
After qualifying M.Sc in Home Science, you can go for lectureship or research field. As these two career sectors are quite trendy these days, you'd be very lucky to get into these. To appear in NET/SET, you must either be in the final year of your post-graduation degree or must have qualified it already. So, you can appear in the exam when you'll be in the final year of M.Sc. Degree. As you belong to Science stream, I'd advise you to go for CSIR NET Exam https://www.eduncle.com/csir-net-exam because this exam is conducted only for Science students. Based on your M.Sc. Degree subject, you can choose the relevant subject in CSIR NET and appear for it. The online submission for June 2018 Exam has been ended and for now, you're not eligible as well. So, you can try in Dec 2018 session. Good Luck!
