The eligibility is completing B.Tech or BE in mechanical engineering or automotive with atleast 75%. You must also take the IELTS or TOEFL. Some competitive universities also require the GRE.

It will be difficult very honestly. And, also it depends on the college you are applying. You may avail a scholarship if you are applying to a mediocre college and your profile is very good according to them. But overall chances are less.

ADMISSION GUIDELINES:
Candidates are selected on the basis of rank and marks scored in the TANCET exam. The TANCET, conducted by Anna University on behalf of Tamil Nadu government, is conducted annually for admissions in PG courses. The exam is not only for the students of Tamil Nadu but for anyone who fulfills the eligibility criteria.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidate must have passed B.Sc Zoology/ Adv. Zoology and Biotechnology / Life Science.

GATE scores are accepted by German institutions. Your academics are good but a higher percentage in B.Tech would somehow have been better. None the less, apply. Take the IELTS too. Besides the GATE score and your B.Tech percentage, universities will also check your internship quality, projects, research, patents if any, publications etc. It's a highly competitive process in Germany. Studying abroad does not guarantee a secured future. There are many factors which depend on how good your career prospects will be like the university, the reputation, your academic and class performance, your own communication and networking skills, corporate tie-ups of the university and so on. You have to evaluate all the aspects and study in a good university and the course of your interest and choice to make it happen. First, know what you want and what kind of job you want to do. That's most important.

Admission eligibility criteria to M.Sc in food and nutrition is B.Sc in home science or a degree in dietetics. I am sorry to say that your degree doesn't make you eligible for this degree.
