Admission Process
ANU conducts entrance examinations for all the courses offered at the university. Time duration of ANU entrance exams range from one and a half hour to three hours (depending on the course for which aspirants have applied for).
The entrance examination is an essential part of the admission process for the majority of the courses offered at Acharya Nagarjuna University. The aspirants need to first clear the entrance test and when selected, shall appear for an interview round/group discussion.
The university also has a center of distance learning that offers varied UG and PG courses. They have varied study centers running

As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates need to have completed:
Higher and Senior Secondary levels of education (classes X and XII) with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.
Graduation in Science/ Engineering/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geology/ Geography, with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.
Often, candidates are required to qualify an institute, State or national-level entrance test for admission to the course.

M.Sc. (Information Technology): Eligibility
Candidates can be eligible for admission if they fulfill any of the following conditions:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Physics / Stats / Electronics or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
B.Tech./BE degree holders in Computer Science/Informational Technology are also eligible for M.Sc. IT course.
Aggregate percentage required in graduation or equivalent may vary from college to college.
Candidates can be eligible for admission if they fulfill any of the following conditions:

Hi Nithin Kohli, the term best depends from person to person. Figure out what you want and what is best for you. Civil Engineering is a wide discipline and now many interdisciplinary areas have come out too. Check program structures and career outcomes and relate them to your own career plans.Construction Engineering and Management, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Hydraulics are some of the most popular ones. But again, it's your personal choice.
