If you want to join a course in biotechnology you must have a background in science, that is Physics or agriculture, chemistry and biology at the intermediate level can join for B.Tech. In India, some universities offer the B.Sc biotechnology which one can join after class 12 or equivalent examination, with physics, chemistry and mathematics. Eligibility for M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry
Candidates wishing to apply for the course need to meet the following minimum eligibility criteria:
A graduation in Science (B.Sc.) stream with Chemistry as one of the main subjects.
A minimum aggregate score of 50% from a recognized university.
Admission to the course is based on the candidates score at the level of graduation, while the admission process varies across institutes.
A few institutes have an entrance test and personal interview in place for admitting students into the course, wherein, students are selected based on the merit obtained.

Hi Shambhavi,
You have to first check admission requirements on university websites since they are different. Top ones like Oxford, Cambridge are highly competitive. As for the tests, you have to take the IELTS to meet English language proficiency requirements. For M.Sc level courses, an overall score of 6.5 is recommended.

Hi Meenu,
For studying in Germany, you must first of all have a very good percentage. Admission requirements are different with different universities, you have to check the university websites before applying but generally, you must take the IELTS and a German language proficiency test depending on the university.
