IGNOU M.Sc Eligibility Criteria:
Interested candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission to IGNOU M.Sc courses which is mentioned below:
M.Sc in mathematics with applications in computer science:
Candidate must have a graduation degree from a reputed university/institution with a major or Bachelors degree in mathematics with at least 50% marks in aggregate

You can be appointed as a professor. Or you may be hired by companies for research in your field.

M.Sc (Information Technology): Eligibility
Candidates can be eligible for admission if they fulfill any of the following conditions:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Physics / Stats / Electronics or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
B.Tech / BE degree holders in Computer Science / Informational Technology are also eligible for M.Sc IT course.
Aggregate percentage required in graduation or equivalent may vary from college to college.

M.Sc in mathematics or Master of science in mathematics is a postgraduate mathematics course. The duration of this course is 2-years.
For Master of science in mathematics entrance examination, a candidate must have passed B.Sc (Mathematics) or B.Sc (Mathematics and computer applications) degree from a recognised university. The minimum percentage required in Bachelor's degree for Master of science in mathematics entrance examination is 55%.
As per my knowledge, the tentative date of Master of science in mathematics entrance examination was 19th May 2017.
