You can pursue life science course for medical coding in IT companies. For lecturer jobs in college or university you need to do Doctorate and qualify NET.

M.Sc with organic chemistry is a good option to get job in pharma industries.
However, you can do some courses on testing, which are generally related to Pharma.

Hi Gurman,
Most of the universities will count it as work experience but not all. You must check with the universities directly. Also, check for 15 or 16 year education work experience. If a college asks for 16 year education, you must do an additional year of academics in India.
