Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) fees: Definite general category students: about 40,000 INR for eleven months, General category: about 50,000 INR per annum, SC/ST: about 20,000 INR for eleven months, SC/ST: about 30,000 INR per annum.

Other expenses: Hostel charges are between 10,000 INR to 15,000 INR,  carrying Mess charges on the same range between 8,000 INR to 12,000 INR.

Uniform and equipment charges may cost between 5,000 INR to 10,000 INR.

For M.Sc admission at Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS), eligibility criteria are: Bachelor's degree in sports science/sports physiology/physical education/life sciences/medicine/physiotherapy/exercise Science with 50% Marks (45% for SC/ST). Age limit: 25 years (age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC). Candidates must pass NSNIS entrance test and interviewed. Specific requirements: Total 200 seats available for admission, and cast reservation 15%SC, 7.5%ST, 27%OBC, 10% EWS, 5% handicap. Application fee: 500-1000 INR.

But entering into Biotechnology after a graduation degree in Botany you need to go through a rigorous course comprising different subjects like Immunology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc. along with new lab techniques. You can try for exams like GAT-B/IIT JAM if eligible for MSc Biotechnology programs with fellowships.
