Candidates are required to submit the original documents at the time of verification of documents for M.Tech courses in the ACS College of Engineering. Moreover, candidates are required to submit original documents along with sets of self-attested copies. The names of the documents are as follows: 

  • Entrance Exam Allotment letter
  • Class 10 mark sheet (original with photocopy)
  • Class 12 mark sheet (original with photocopy)
  • Proof of residence
  • Medical certificate
  • Income certificate (if applicable)
  • Student Aadhar card
  • Student's photographs

No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admissions to M.Tech courses at ACS College of Engineering. For the admission process, the college requires candidates to achieve valid scores in any of the entrance exams from GATE and K-PGCET, followed by counselling. Therefore, ACS College of Engineering M.Tech admission is entrance-based. However, the college does provide management quota seats for M.Tech students.

Currently, the dates for the commencement of classes for the M.Tech batch 2025 have not been released at the official website of the ACS College of Engineering. However, as per the previous academic calendar, the classes commenced in August. Therefore, it can be anticipated that for this academic year, the classes will commence on similar month.

As per the sources and web pages available at the official website of ACS College of Engineering, for admissions to M.Tech course at ACS College of Engineering candidates must complete their BE/ BTech degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Moreover, according to the brochure available on the official website of the college mentioned that the candidates from any stream in BE/ BTech course can get admissions to M.Tech course, after completing the other eligibility requirements. Candidates are suggested to reach out to the college's admission department or call the admission helpline number for this inquiry.

For admissions to the Masters in Technology course at ACS College of Engineering, the institute accepts the national-level and state-level-based PG engineering entrance exams. ACSE accepts the valid scores of K PGCET/ GATE for the selection process in M.Tech courses, followed by counseling. Moreover, the admission process for post graduate engineering courses at ACSE starts with the registration for the accepted entrance examination.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the M.Tech course at ACS College of Engineering include candidates completing their Bachelor in Engineering/Bachelor's in Technology course in Civil Engineering by securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate. However, in the case of candidates belonging to the SC/ ST group, the minimum aggregate is 45%. Moreover, for the selection process, the college accepts the scores from Karnataka PGCET/ GATE, followed by the counseling. Further, on the basis of ranks/scores secured by the candidates, the college releases the merit list of selected candidates.

Yes, ACS College of Engineering does offer an M.Tech course for the duration of two years, divided into four semesters, and offered in full-time mode. The primary eligibility criteria that the college requires for admissions to the M.Tech course is candidates must complete their BE/BTech in Civil Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates).

Hello candidate, the answer to this question is quite subjective and cannot be said with any certainty. If you are really invested in the field of Structural Engineering and plan on pursuing a career in the same field, you might consider going for an MTech degree in Structural Engg. that will give you an upper hand in terms of knowledge and career prospects.
