Admission at JSS Academy of Technical Education seems to be based on GATE performance. Candidates are required to have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the same to be eligible for admission. Admissions are granted across a limited number of seats for each M.Tech specialization.

Mangalayatan University has not released its placement report for 2023 yet. The specific placement reports for M Tech programme is also not available. However, as per the NIRF report 2023, a total of 142 UG (3-year) and 26 PG (2-year) students were placed during Mangalayatan University Aligarh placements 2022. Further, the median package offered to UG (3-year) and PG (2-year) during placements 2022 stood at INR 2.24 LPA and INR 2.40 LPA, respectively. The median package for PG (2-Year) programmes increased by 25% in 2021 as compared to 2020. The median package provided to the students of M.Tech is around INR 1.60 LPA.

Admission to the M.Tech at KKWIEER Nashik is subject to meeting the eligibility criteria and the candidates have to secure a valid score in GATE, MHTCET MTech. All shortlisted candidates have to complete the KKWIEER Nashik M.Tech admission process by getting their documents verified and paying the admission fee. You must have completed your undergraduate degree (BE/B.Tech) in a relevant field. A minimum aggregate of 55% in your undergraduate studies is required.

The IIST has not yet disclosed the most recent official cutoff date for M.Tech admissions for the 2024 intake. IIST typically releases cutoffs following each counseling round; however, because of the dynamic nature of their system, these can differ from year to year depending on some factors, such as:
- The total number of seats available for M.Tech specialty.
- The overall quantity of candidates and their GATE results.
- The GATE exam's difficulty level in that particular year.
- Policies of reservations and cutoffs by category.

You must fulfill specified eligibility requirements to enroll in an M.Tech study at the Indore Institute of Science and Technology (IIST):
- Holds a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in engineering or technology (B.E/B.Tech).
- Obtain at least a 50% cumulative score (45% for reserved categories) on your qualifying bachelor's degree test.
- Get a high score on the Indian Institute of Science's Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) to advance in your career. Depending on the M.Tech specialisation selected, different GATE scores may be needed.

The college established a dedicated job development cell to assist with placement preparation and provided free access to many online learning resources, including Coursera, EDX, and Skill Rack. Numerous firms came to the campus to offer positions, including Eicher, Mahle India, Infosys, TCS, and others. 3 LPA is the lowest package that Cisco offers, and 24 LPA is the highest. In addition, regular sessions and training are provided to students to help them to develop both their speaking and personality.

The prominent Indore Institute of Science and Technology (IIST) was founded in 2003. It has recognition from the Madhya Pradesh government's DTE and is associated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya in Bhopal.
