The minimum eligibility criteria for the MTech programmes offered at School of Computer Science, UPES is Class 12 and bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate. The total course fee for BTech is INR 11 lakh. This fee does not include the transportation charges and various other additional charges. NIT Nagaland offers MTech as a postgraduate programme for a two-year duration in a regular and part time mode. The MTech programme is offered under multiple specialisations : Communication Engineering. Communication Engineering Syllabus. VLSI Systems Curriculum. Admission to these specialisations is offered based on the GATE score and CCMN/CCMT counselling.

Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Also, have a valid GATE Score and a decent work experience is eligible for M.Tech at NIT Nagaland. The GATE Cutoff for each NIT will vary and each NIT will release its GATE cutoff based on the following factors. Candidates will be able to see the cutoff for all NITs on the official website of CCMT (Centralised Counselling for MTech).

CMS College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission to M.Tech:
- TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test)
- GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)
For M.Tech admissions, the college accepts TANCET and GATE scores. TANCET is for candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree, while GATE is for candidates with a bachelor's degree in engineering/technology/architecture or a master's degree in science/mathematics/computer applications.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Guwahati offers only one course for M.Tech which is Masters of Technology (Medical Devices) which has a total 16 seats out of which 6 are for general category candidates 4 are for OBC students and 3 seats are reserved for SC candidates, 1 seat for ST candidates and remaining 2 seats for EWS category students.
