In 2024 and 2023, admissions to M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering were closed at 448 and 386, respectively. Analysing the trend over the last three years suggests that the competition for this course is increasing year by year. MTech CSE cutoff 2025 was released for the year 2025, wherein the range was from 526 to 602, according to the last and first round cutoff for the General AI category. Please note that different categories will have different cutoffs accordingly; for example, the OBC AI category, the NIT Sikkim M.Tech cutoff 2025 ranged from 555 to 486. For the SC and ST AI quota, admissions were closed at 403 and 278, respectively. M.Tech admissions are based on GATE score, followed by  the CCMT counselling process for NIT Silchar 2025.

The M.Tech seat allocation in SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Chengalpattu is conducted based on merit rank, entrance score, community reservation, and availability of seats. Admission becomes complete only after document verification and payment of the fee.

For entry into M.Tech programme at Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, candidates should have a BTech degree with not less than 50% marks. SC and ST candidates can apply with a minimum of 45% marks. A valid GATE score is also necessary to be selected.
