The Bachelor of Arts course at Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women is a three year course and divided into six semesters. It has been the epitome of an enriching experience in itself. Those candidates who are seeking admission to the BA course at MLACW must provide the following documents:

• Application form duly filled with a passport-size photograph
•  Three passport-size photographs
• Attested copy of the SSLC/Class 10 mark sheet
• Attested copy of the qualifying examination (II PUC/Class 12)
• Attested copy of the Migration certificate for students from outside Karnataka
• Parent's/Guardian's contact nos: Landline & Mobile
• Copy of Aadhar card
• For SC/ST students: Attested copy of the Caste Certificate issued by the Authorized Officer, valid for 5 years
• For Category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB students: Attested copy of the Caste and Income Certificates issued by the Revenue Officer in the prescribed format
• For differently abled candidates: Copy of disability or handicap certificates issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner

The admission process to the BA programme at Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women does not consider any entrance examination. The process is based on merit, which is computed according to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination in Class 12. Applicants must have completed their Class 12 education with a duly recognised board. There are no entrance tests separately required for BA admissions to the college.
