No, candidates are not required to qualify for any entrance exam to pursue MA from MDSU. Admissions to this course is done through a merit scores of the last qualifying exam. Candidates have to submit their academic scorecards and certificate at the time of filling the application form. Based on their past academic records, students will be shortlisted and notified though merit list.

To get a seat at MDSU MA course, candidates have to pass Class 12 with minimum 48% aggregate. The seat intake for MA is 5,828, including the campus and affiliated colleges.
