GBS Malta follows a rolling admissions policy, so you can apply at any time of the year. Nevertheless, to enable sufficient time for visa application, documentation, and accommodation reservation, international students are strongly advised to apply at least 3–4 months ahead of their most preferred intake. GBS Malta generally has several intakes throughout the year, particularly for high-demand courses such as Business and Management.

GBS Malta has an open and student-centred admissions policy. A student's general potential rather than grades is considered important. Applicants meeting minimum academic qualifications and English language proficiency (e.g., IELTS or equivalent tests) will most likely be offered a place. Work experience, motivation, and relevance to the mission of the programme are also taken into consideration. This is inclusive of catering to students from diverse backgrounds, both to the benefit of freshers as well as professionals who wish to upskill.
