For me, GIBS Bangalore felt like more than just a college because it wasn't only about attending classes and writing exams. I made good friends, learned new things, took part in different activities, and grew a lot as a person during my time there.
What made it special for me was:
A friendly campus environment.
Supportive faculty.
Internship opportunities.
Industry visits and guest lectures.
Workshops and placement training.
Lots of memories with friends through events and activities.
Looking back, I don't just remember the subjects I studied. I remember the experiences, the people I met, and how much I changed over those years. That's why I a

What I liked was that the preparation didn't start only when placements came around. We were getting small bits of training throughout the course, so it never felt rushed.
Things that really helped were:
Mock interviews to practice before the real ones.
Communication and personality development sessions.
Resume-building guidance.
Group discussions and presentations.
Guest sessions with industry professionals.
Internship opportunities to get some real work exposure.
By the time placement season started, interviews didn't feel as scary because we'd already practiced so much. I felt much more confident compared to when I first joined, and that st

GIBS is generally in the mid-fee range when comparing to most of the private B-Schools in Bangalore for PGDM. The fee for the two-year PGDM is ₹11.25 lakh, which is lower than most of the higher end B-Schools and higher than some of the budget B-Schools.
Compared to other B-Schools in Bangalore, we have lower tuition fees than many of the higher-end private B-Schools. Between IIM Bangalore and some of the higher end private B-Schools, the fees can be significantly higher.
GIBS provides a more moderate-priced option for management education.
GIBS has a competitive return on investment (ROI).

From my experience at GIBS Bangalore, placements were actually quite structured and preparation starts from the beginning itself. It's not something you suddenly face in the final semester — you keep getting trained through internships, presentations, communication sessions, and mock interviews.
I am from 2025 batch and I personally got placed at around 9 LPA
My friend Suraj got a package of around 16 LPA
Average range for many students is around 8–9 LPA
the highest packages can go around 16–17 LPA+ depending on performance
Internship support is given during the programme itself
