The National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh ) is a public technical university and is one of the thirty-one NITs established, administered and funded by MHRD. Admission is made at the undergraduate level using the JEE Main score and at the postgraduate level using central exams such as the GATE score. Referring to your query, since it is a public university, management quota is not applicable. As management quota facilitates direct admission, it is only applicable to private or deemed universities because they don't receive any grants from the government.
