Manipal University course admission is entrance-based. Before applying for admission, it's important to fulfil the qualification requirements of the courses. The university accepts several national-level entrance exams to shortlist the candidates. The eligibility criteria to get admissions into MCA courses at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology are candidates must complete their  BCA/BSc (Computer Science)/ BSc. IT/BE (CSE)/BTech (CSE)/BE (IT)/BTech IT or any graduation degree (BCom/BA/BVoc/etc.), preferably with Mathematics at Class 12 or graduation level. Additionally, candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% and 45% for reserved category candidates.

The basic eligibility criteria required for admissions to the BBA course at SMIT, Sikkim Manipal University, is that candidates must complete their Class 12 in any stream with at least an aggregate of 50% marks. If candidates have secured 60% in their Class 12, they are eligible to enroll in the course, and there is a chance that they will get admission.
