IT/BE (CSE)/BTech (CSE)/BE (IT)/BTech IT or any graduation degree (BCom/BA/BVoc/etc.), preferably with Mathematics. The basic eligibility criteria required for admissions to the BBA course at SMIT, Sikkim Manipal University, is that candidates must complete their Class 12 in any stream with at least an aggregate of 50% marks. If candidates have secured 60% in their Class 12, they are eligible to enroll in the course, and there is a chance that they will get admission.

Sikkim Manipal University eligibility varies for the undergraduate, postgraduate, and Diploma courses. Most of the courses offer admissions on an entrance basis. However, students must also fulfil the basic eligibility to be able to apply for the desired course at the university. Admission to UG courses requires students to pass Class 12 or its equivalent with the relevant subjects from a recognised board.
