MET 2023 question paper consisted of a total of 60 questions. For the Physics and Chemistry section, there were 10 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and 5 Numerical Answer Type NAT Questions. In the Mathematics section, the candidates had to answer 15 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and 5 Numerical Answer Type NAT Questions. Finally, for the English section, there were a total of 10 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Candidates were advised to attempt all questions to have higher chances of securing the required marks for admission into their preferred course and campus.

MET 2023 question paper was divided into sections. The candidates were required to attempt all sections so that they had a higher chance of scoring well in the entrance examination. The four sections of MET question paper were Mathematics, Physics Chemistry and English. Candidates were allowed to skip questions and attempt it later as long as the duration of the examination was not over. No extra time was provided to the candidates for the examination. The total marks for MET 2023 was 240.

MET exam pattern consisted of the details regarding how the examination was held. As per the official MET exam pattern, the examination was held as a computer-based test at various centres. The total duration of the examination was 2 hours. Candidates had to answer Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT). For every correct answer, the candidate was allotted four marks. There was no negative marking for Numerical Answer Type (NAT) but one mark was deducted for every wrong answer in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
