If you are looking in Bangalore then BMS is a better option because it ranks 2nd, and if you are looking in Karnataka I would say manipal.

Civil engineering is a good branch. The professors here are very good. We have proper equipment for surveying and material testing and everything. Companies like LnT, Tata steel, Mahindra and Mahondra etc come for placements.
