Admissions at Manipal Global Academy of Data Science are entrance-based for the MSc in Data Science program, and merit-based for the Postgraduate Certificate Program in Data Science and Machine Learning. The entrance examination and/or personal interview are conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The merit of rank is prepared by using the grade obtained in Mathematics and/or Statistics and/or Computer Science in the qualifying examinations.

Placement stats for 2024 has not bene released by Kasturba Medical College, but as per the NIRF report 2023, the college offers good placement opportunities with satisfactory packages to the students.
