MSAP Courses and Fees 2022

Courses offered by MSAP include undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Architecture, Design and Fashion. MSAP has more than 10 courses, including UG and PG courses in Architecture and Design. Moreover, the institute offers a certificate programme in Fashion Design with a course duration of one year. The course period of BArch is five years, whereas other UG programmes at MSAP (BDes) are completed in four years. Similarly, Master’s courses are concluded in two years.

MSAP allows lateral admissions for students with a 10+2+3 Diploma (with Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects) and 50% aggregate. Diploma holders who are eligible for lateral admissions will be admitted to the second year of BDes programmes (includes both specialisations).

College life at this college is very good.

Placements: The architecture course doesn't have any placements, so you must search for placements on your own. The training and placement cell might help. Batchmates got placed in various firms all over the country. Depending on performance, few students who joined as interns continued as junior architects.

Infrastructure: We share the same hostels with multiple colleges on the MIT campus, but all hostels are well-constructed. They are lively, and there are several student centres. The college is currently a part of the en...

Our college provides good faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: Since it's an architecture college, students usually opt to work under other firms. But in Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, you get a good experience and also with great faculty members and seniors. It makes it easier. Most of the alumni have their firms in large cities while others work for big firms.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. They are going to shift to another building after a few years. Hostels are very spacious and have all the facilities required, and hygien...

You have the key, do whatever you want with that.

Placements: There are no placements opportunities provided by the institution for architecture. However, students from our college have never failed to get into a good practice after college or during the course of the 1-year internship. Manipalites have a better chance of getting placed in practice in Bangalore due to its proximity to the college. There are students who try hard to get into cities like Mumbai or Ahmedabad, but the practices in these cities always give first preference to the students study...

University with a great infrastructure and learned faculty.

Placements: As of the end of 2016, there wasn't any placement drive conducted. Students applied for various firms on their own (working portfolio is taken into consideration) or continued in the firm they were working in, in the 9th and 10th semester internships. The highest starting salary (for jobs in India) was Rs. 25,000 pm while the lowest was Rs. 12,000 pm. This is one of the best colleges with the best infrastructure and campus life. A beautiful place surrounded by a peaceful environment beaches around. We had the best time here. The place gives a great exposure and the best campus life as you tend to meet people from different places. Coming to academics, it totally depends on what you choose.

MSAP Scholarships 

Scholarships offered by MSAP are mainly merit-based and require the candidates to score at least 70% aggregate in their respective qualifying exams. The institute awards more than 12 scholarships to minimise total course fees. These financial aids are continued on account of perpetual meritorious performance in the semester examinations. However, students are required to pay the ‘Caution Deposit’ money during the time of admission. MSAP Highlights 2022

Manipal School of Architecture and Planning (MSAP) is a constituent unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education or commonly known as MAHE (formerly Manipal University). MSAP started with the Bachelor of Architecture degree under Mysore University and later on (in 1980), the institute was affiliated to Mangalore University as Department of Architecture. In 2010, MSAP was enlisted as the 22 institute of Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

The institute comprises two departments viz. Department of Design and Manipal School of Architecture and Planning with a faculty headcount of more than 76 members. MSAP is recognised by several architectural societies (CoA, INTACH, etc.) and ranked 18 among the top architectural colleges in India by NIRF 2021. The college offers more than 10 courses such as BArch, BDes in Interior Design, M.Arch in Urban Design & Development, MA in Fashion Management, Certificate in Fashion Design, among several others. Moreover, MSAP organises frequent workshops on Colour Techniques, Miniature Furniture Design, Aluminium Casting, among other skillsets to impart additional knowledge on the programme.

As you have scored 124 marks in the NATA exam and 80 in PU, so it will be difficult for you to get admission in Manipal University. Still, I will suggest you to participate in the counselling process wisely and smartly and wait till the last round of the counselling process.
