I would not suggest you to pursue a practical intensive course like event management through distance learning mode. You cannot learn the nuances of event management through distance learning. If you really want to pursue the course, kindly go for a regular course. Also, I am afraid there is no government college that offers this course in India. The date of counselling will be published on the University's website once the result has been announced. Tentatively, it will happen in the month of June. I would advise you to keep a track of the website so that you stay updated with the information.

Yes, there is a good possibility. The first cut-off list might be as high as 90 percent, especially for the top colleges, but you can expect to secure admission in Ruparel, Mithibai, Sathaya, Bhavan's, K. J. Somaya and Patkar College in their 2nd or 3rd cut-off list.
