Hi,
I am afraid you cannot pursue the diploma course in media design professional from iPixio Design College. One has to clear 10+2 from a recognized university in order to be eligible for this course.

Hi Avi,
Generally, the cut-off of all DU colleges offering mass communication ranges from 90-98%. Given the intensity of competition, the cut-offs are always on the higher side across all colleges under DU that offer the coveted programme. The university will release cut-offs for vacant seats subsequent to each round of admission via online and offline modes. You will need to keep an eye on the newspaper for second and third cut-off list to be published. There might be a slight chance that the cut-off might come down to 70 percent, only if you're lucky.

The first step towards placement is to invite all the companies through letters and emails (who had visited our campus in the previous years and all other media companies), by providing them with details of the various programmes run in the institution, and fixing dates for campus recruitments.

Only if you do two-year Master's degree programme you are eligible to apply for PR. However, when you apply, you need the required points, for which you need higher IELTS/PTE and also you need a job according to your study level.

For UG in mass communication, Amity is better among both the options. According to my knowledge, Amity has a good laboratory in comparison to Symbiosis. They will provide you with the best knowledge, so you can get something in your future. They will provide you with the best placement and you will learn a lot of things and get good opportunities.
Good luck.

The upper age limit for doing the course in journalism(BJMC) is 21 years.
If you have any such issue stopping you from pursuing a course in Mass Media and Journalism, Distance Learning is the available option.
Distance Learning is one option where the age bar is not kept in the eligibility for doing a course.

Anubhav,
I suggest please visit the campus and meet the counsellors there. You will get a better idea about the institution.
Thanks.
