A Mass Communication / Journalism degree can also lend you a job in the fields of direction, program research, production, script writing and camera & sound departments. All three are very different industries. I understand that you're confused but ultimately, it is you who will sort your interest and decide on a career path. To be a part of Navy, you can give the below exams:
1. NDA Entry: National Defence Academy is a tri-service academy, which is like a feeder institution for the Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy and Air Force Academy. Joint training for a period of three years is carried out here, and then candidates are sent for one-year pre-commissioning training to their chosen academy. It an excellent opportunity for boys who have just passed out of class 12th to live their dream of working for the Indian Navy. NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year.
2. CDSE Entry: Combined Defence Service Examination is an exam conducted by UPSC twice every year. CDSE is aimed to select officers for Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. While in Army both men and women can apply, only men can apply for Navy and Air Force. CDS is a written exam followed by SSB interview, and on being successful in that candidates are given the chosen force, based on their marks and available seats.
3. Graduate Direct Entries: These are the entries which require a minimum of graduation. These entries can be for the branches like IT, Logistics, Administration, Observer, Pilot, Education etc. Navy keeps on publishing advertisements for the same at different times of the year. The mode of entry is direct, based on graduation cut-off. Different branches may have different educational qualifications, as required by them.

Modelling and Journalism are totally different industries. You cannot become a model by pursuing Journalism. Yet, because your question is about PG course in Journalism, here is the information. Admission to PG Diploma in Journalism course is based on merit-based or entrance-based. Many colleges select candidates through a merit list prepared by a university for this course admission. Some of the reputed institutes conduct entrance examination along with the personal interview for selecting candidates for course admission. Entrance exams may vary from one institute to another. Few colleges directly admit students for this course admission.

The eligibility criteria for admission to Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Acting and Feature Film Screenplay Writing is that the candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University. For admission to audiography course, the candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with Physics as a subject at Sr Sec (10+2)level. Admission to Art Direction and Production Design requires a candidate to have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture/ Painting/ Applied Art/ Sculpture/ Interior Design or related fields in Fine Arts or Equivalent Diploma. For admission to Animation and Computer Graphics, the basic eligibility criteria are Sr Sec (10+2) and preference is given to candidates having completed Diploma from fine arts colleges.
