The best option is to go for a Masters programme in event management and then join an event management company, as that will you an edge over others. The best event management colleges are listed below:

The scope of event management is widening in India. Fields to look in: corporate events (product launches, conferences, CSR events etc), web events(webinars), political events(campaigns, rallies etc), Entertainment Events - wedding, musical concerts, Fashion events etc
A BBA degree may offer an individual an entree level job in any good organisation though an expertise diploma/experience coupled with it can broaden the prospectives. Like BBA + Graphic designing is preferred in an advertising/digital marketing agency, BBA + CA is a good combination too. BBA + experience of managing events can earn a good job and the list goes on.

All these career options are very different from one another. I would suggest you go for a professional career and opt for any for these as a simultaneous career. This will help you decide that whether you actually want any of these careers as your full-time career or not.
Take up anything you are good at. And make a career into the same.
