There are so many Certificate and Diploma courses in photography in India. Besides these, very few colleges provide a Bachelors degree in fine arts and photography.
The minimum education required for the professional courses in photography is 10+2. These courses contain the knowledge and art of photography, angle, lighting, technical knowledge of instruments as camera and understanding of fine arts.
The professional education in photography has three levels of study after 12th as the following:
Certificate courses: Certificate courses are taken the duration of six months after 12th in any stream.

You can pursue a Masters course in film direction or production. The institute that offer these degrees are FTII, AAFT and many more. After completing the course, you can surely assist any director on short films or can also try producing or directing your own film.

as you know a person can excel in every feild if he has true desire and dedication to achieve it.
These days both of them are gaining the attention of youth as they are good enough.
but hotel management provides you more security in terms of salary ,job and good placement as you have asked. whereas event management may be little bit occasional but due to the lavish ceremonies , shows or functions this has also gained importance.
as hotel management is much broader than ev. mang. it is more flexible and you have several options in it. so take your time and choose the one which suites you.

If you are excellent in this field, you can work as a freelancer or join some publishing or media house. NGC organises photo contest every year, and it gives you good exposure. Until you are innovative and keep yourself updated with the latest technologies, survival is difficult.
