Maths might be there at a very basic level as event accounting forms a little part of the curriculum. Don't be afraid as Maths wouldn't be there much.

There are many government universities that offer MA in mass communications. But those offering bachelors courses are very limited. Personally, I would recommend Delhi University and Jamia Milia Islamia University.

You can refer to the below link to know the best institutes in India for pursuing event management. They either provide Diploma courses or degree courses. Certificate courses will do no good for your career. I believe, public relations would be an ideal course if you wish to pursue an add-on course. As event management is all about making relations and contacts with people whilst maintaining and promoting the reputation of your firm, public relation skills will come off handy.

It is a media college and teachings are purely based on media studies like print media, electronic media, digital media, advertising, public relations, event management and so on.
