The set of questions will majorly consist of aptitude based questions like basic maths, reasoning, English language, general knowledge and subject-based knowledge. You can pick up any Mass Communication preparation book for practice. My personal suggestion would be Arihant Publications and Kewal J Kumar.

Yes, any student having an aggregate percentage of 50 is eligible to get an admission of journalism and mass communication, both UG and PG.

Hi Dhaulath, Entrance exam date for Jamia Millia Islamia for M.A. Mass Communication was April 28th for the current year. For 2019, it should most likely fall in April to May'19. However, forms are mostly available for submission from Feburary every year so you can check for the same next time. Also, check your eligibility for the course from the JMI website. All the best!
