In order to pursue mass communication, you can take up the courses like:
BJMC (Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication)
B.Sc MCAJ (Bachelors of Science in Mass communication and Journalism)
You can take up the following courses from the government and private institutes. Some of the best colleges that you can choose from are:
Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication (SCMC)
GGS, IPU
DCAC
AAFT
In order to be a graduate from any of these colleges, you might have to write their respective entrance exams as well. A minimum of 50% in 12th from any stream is mandatory to get into the field of mass communication. Anchor, writer, film maker, journalist, reporter, transponder, director, cinematographer, editor, radio jockey, etc. are the fields that you can enroute from this field.

If you are looking for a career in mass communication, then you must pass your class 12th with any discipline, but must be having excellent communication skills. After the completion of the class 12th you can go for the following courses:
Diploma Courses (1 year.)
Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (3 year)
Master of Journalism and Mass Communication (2 year)
Post graduate diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication (1 year)
Eligibility and Admission
The candidate who is looking for a career in mass communication, must pass their senior secondary examination and have good communication skills.
The admission to the various courses on done on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examinations.
Minimum eligibility for Bachelor degree in journalism is 10+2 and for postgraduate degree courses, you must hold a Bachelor degree in journalism or relevant field.
Some universities and college admit students on the basis of marks in class 12th followed by interview.
Most of the universities conduct their own entrance examination, and the marks scored by the candidate is considered for providing admission. Some entrance tests which are organized for providing admissions in mass communication courses are listed here:

B.Voc (Bachelor of Vocation) is a regular 3 years degree recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission of India). Just like B.Sc there are many specializations in B.Voc like Analytics, Media Production, Retail Management, Software Development, Textile Design, Automobile, etc.

It is a new initiative of Government to align higher education with the emerging needs of the economy so as to ensure that the graduates of higher education system have adequate knowledge and skills for employment and entrepreneurship. It is a course where more importance is given to practical education than the customary theoretical education.
It has multiple exit options as:
Diplomo (after 1 year)
Advance Diplomo (after 2 years)
B.Voc Degree (after 3 years, i.e. end of the course)
If by any chance you wish to leave the course and then after some time you wish to re-join the course, then you can easily re-join from the year where you left it.
