To improve the chances of a seat at MIT, students are required to display their academic and technical knowledge, any prior research experience, and motivation behind choosing MIT for further studies, among other things.

The institute prioritises students with prior internship or research experience.

Letters of Recommendation from school teachers, college professors, and past employers also help improve the overall quality of the application, and thus the overall chances of admission.

Going through the applications of past MIT students can also help students get an idea of the things that are present or are currently missing f

International students can track their application on the application portal through which they have applied. The university will provide them with login credentials through which they can check the live status of their application, along with the receipt of transcripts, test scores, and recommendation letters. It is advisable to check the application periodically before emailing it to the admission office. Students can also receive the decision mail through the same portal.

It is not so easy to pick any of them. Both Oxford University and MIT are world-class institutions. Almost every student wants to study in any of them, but they excel in different subjects.

  • The Oxford University in UK, is renowned for humanities, social sciences, and research tradition, offering a broad education.
  • On the other hand, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in USA is globally famous for STEM, engineering, and technology innovation.

In short, the better institute for you totally depends on your interest of study and career goals, rather than overall prestige.
