Yes you can do it. NID offers M.Des course in Furniture and Interior design. The eligibility criteria is a Bachelors degree in any discipline.

Yes, it is definitely good to pursue automobile engineering after your B.Tech. If you wish to go for M.Des in automobile design, you can apply to one of these following colleges:
MITID, Pune
UPES, Dehradun.

A student with a can apply for the programme for M.Des in Fashion, interior, product design and more, Students coming from any 10+2 or graduation discipline from a recognised university, or board with a minimum aggregate of 50%, You can appear for any entrance or admission process for any design course. It depends upon the university which you are interested in. Delhi University will not allow but others do. You can pursue M.Com from IGNOU or open university. Generally. open university does not ask for the minimum percentage. Best of luck.
