Hello Anuradha,
NTA has conducted the UGC NET exam in 82 subjects this year. As per the exam guidelines, you can appear for the UGC NET exam in the subject in which you have done the post-graduation or related to that. As you said you have completed Masters' in Child Psychology, so you can apply for the exam with Psychology subject. Before appearing for the UGC NET exam must check out that you eligible or not for the exam. Hello Sunil,
USA & Australia, both these countries seek qualified personnel to augment human resources in their respective countries. From the perspective of sheer availability of jobs, Australia is no match for USA. However, present political conditions are compelling many Indian students to look elsewhere. However, I would like to advise you that USA is definitely better than Australia, but getting citizenship or similar arrangements is much easier in Australia. Best wishes to you.

Candidates must have completed Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for OBC/PC) in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities, BE/B.Tech with specialization in Science and Mathematics must have secured at least 55% marks (50% marks for OBC/PC candidates).
