I believe you must have experienced B.Tech course, which focuses more on technical aspects not on the research/Science aspects. So, rather than taking suggestions from other people you should evaluate yourself on the basis of your experience. Yes, indeed. It is a very popular course among students who want a transition from their engineering and technology knowledge and move onto management roles in the career path. There are many colleges offering this programme in the USA with English language, mostly GRE/GMAT score, engineering or STEM discipline as the basic background. A few years of work experience surely helps.
