To be eligible for Ph.D. you need to have a master's degree in journalism and mass communication with 50% or a master's degree in any subject with 5 years experience media industry/ teaching/ research in mass communication.

If you are thinking to go in government sector, then you can apply for BHEL, MTNL, BSNL, etc.

MBA & MS are equivalent. Mumbai University does not give MBA; they call it Masters in Management studies (MS). All other universities call it Masters in Business Administration. For your information, IIMS (all) offer only PGDM. But, they are most valued, respected and greatly in demand.
