MAT Application Form

MAT 2024 was conducted in several cities around India. For August session, PBT was conducted in around 28 cities and CBT in 23 cities. Candidates can apply for MAT by registering at the AIMA website. The option to select test cities will be given in the MAT application form. Applicants must choose their home towns or the cities closed to their current city as the first preference in the MAT exam form. MAT test cities for PBT are Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Bhilai, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Chennai, Jammu, Coimbatore, Jamshedpur, Dehradun, Kanpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Noida, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Thiruvananthapuram, Visakhapatnam. 

Candidates can fill the MAT application form through the official website of MAT . Here are the steps to do so : 

 1.Open official website of AIMA MAT. 

2. Enter requires details for registration like Name, Phone Number, Email ID, Date of Birth and set a password. 

3. Click on submit button.

4. An OTP will be sent in the registered mobile number which you used just now to register.

5. Verify phone number using the OTP. 

6. New login will be sent in your email. 

7. Select exam mode, exam date and other details

8. Upload your documents like passport size photo and signature. 

9. Select 5 MBA institutes of your preference. (choice declaration).

10. Pay the fee via debit/credit card or net banking. 

11. In the next page add personal details, academic details, address, etc.

12. Fill the remaining fields and the click on the declaration check box

13. Submit the form to complete the process.

The MAT application fee is same for all exam modes. The fee amount to be paid is INR 2200 for every single attempt irrespective of the exam mode. If a candidate wishes to combine two attempts (e.g. IBT+IBT, PBT+CBT, IBT+PBT, IBT+CBT), then they will have to pay INR 1500 additionally. Those who opt for additional test will get the benefit of additional 2 Management Institutes for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutes.

If you wish to take the MAT exam in following combination, then you will have to pay INR 3,600.

For Double Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT)
or PBT+IBT
or PBT+CBT
or CBT+IBT

For every MAT attempt in different phases you need to fill a separate form. However, if you are planning to go for more than one attempt in the same exam phase, they you can apply for a combination of two exam session.

Candidate can take MAT in the following modes and combinations:

• Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or
• Double Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or
• Paper Based Test (PBT) or
• Paper Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (PBT+IBT) or
• Computer Based Test (CBT) or
• Computer Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (CBT+IBT) or
• Paper Based Test and Computer Based Test (PBT+CBT) 

 The MAT application form will be common and candidates will have to only mention their exam modes in it.
