No government seats.
All seats are given on merit which is the USP of the institute.
Same fees structure for all the students.
You can apply for scholarships after you join.

Yes, you can expect a call from XIME as the cutoff is 75 %ile.
So if all the other requirements are fulfilled you will definitely receive a call.

No, IIT-Chennai no longer accepts the scores of MAT exam for the admission process of its full-time MBA programme. It accepts the scores of only CAT (for Indian candidates) and GMAT (for NRI and foreign nationals). https://doms.iitm.ac.in/index.php/admissions/mba-admissions/eligibility-and-selection Kindly visit this link to know in detail about the eligibility criteria and selection procedure.

Hello!
Unfortunately, there is not even a decent B-School anywhere in India where one can get admission with just 38 percentile in the MAT exam. And the ones you might get won't simply be worth enough to pursue MBA; turning out to be a total waste of both your precious time I.e. 2-years as well as money (in Lacs). I would suggest you to either reappear for MAT (or other exams as per your wish) next year or focus on the other upcoming exams like MBA CET. Good luck!

There is chance of getting a call from Welingkar as they consider an overall score of GDPI, academics and your percentile. You can choose your specialisation only in the 2nd year as 1st year is general management.
