You do not have to give an improvement exam for all six subjects.

According to CBSE rules, if you passed in five subjects but have a "back" or failed one subject, you are eligible to appear for a supplementary (compartment) exam only for that specific subject (Maths).

No, Mathematics in Class 12 or Higher Senior Secondary is not compulsory to get admission into the BBA course at CU Tamil Nadu. Moreover, the information available on the official sources, applicants from any stream or any subject in Class 12 can apply to the BBA course at CU Tamil Nadu. Maths is one of the most important parts of the BTech CSE syllabus, where you encounter subjects like Calculus, Linear Algebra, etc. in the CSE 1st year syllabus and get introduced to the mathematical concepts applicable in CSE.

From second year onwards, you have to basically apply that mathematical knowledge to make sense of complex CSE subjects like Data Structures, Database Management, Computer Networks, etc., which makes Mathematics a core component for the BTech CSE coursework across all semesters, be it introductory lectures or application in other core subjects.
