Yes, The CSIR NET exam accepts candidates who obtained their Master's degree in Mathematics with Computer Science as it considers both M.Sc. education and equivalent qualifications for eligibility. 

Educational Qualification:

  • A Master's degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • Since your degree includes Mathematics, you are eligible.

It depends on the university or college you are applying to. Some universities require mathematics as a mandatory subject for B.Com (Hons), while others allow admission without it.

Here's a general guideline:

Delhi University (DU): Requires mathematics in Class 12 for B.Com (Hons).

Calcutta University: Often requires math or business math.

Yes, you can pursue a BA (Hons) in Economics at SD College without having Math in your 12th grade. Many universities and colleges offer this program to students from diverse academic backgrounds, including Arts. Your impressive 92% in 12th Arts will likely strengthen your application.  

While some basic math is involved in Economics, colleges often provide foundational courses to help students catch up. ofcourse you should Check SD College's specific eligibility criteria to confirm, but generally, your Arts background shouldn't be a barrier.
