BIT Mesra has a seat intake of 77 for the BSc in Mathematics and Computing programme. The seat allotment in this course is done based on JEE scores. In addition, 50% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the state of Jharkhand and 50% for other state candidates. According to JEE Advanced's eligibility criteria to take admission in IITs, a candidate should have atleast 75% in aggregate of below 5 subjects-
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- English or any language subject
- Best of either 5th or 6th subject except above 4 subjects.
Yes, you are eligible they just look at your overall percentage in class 12 CBSE that needs to be more than 75 thats all. Counting only maths marks is not what it is. Total percentage is needed the most. If you fulfill that, you are definitely set to go

In the CUET math section, you can choose to attempt either Section B1 (Mathematics) or Section B2 (Mathematics/Statistics). Attempting both sections isn't allowed. Choose the section that aligns better with your academic background and interests.
