Number of subjects failed: You are eligible for the compartment exam only if you fail in one or two subjects. Failing in three or more subjects means you need to reappear for the entire board exam next year. If a student takes compartment test in 12th, can he take admission in any college in the same year? Yes.

Hi everyone,
Yes, as an UP board student you can apply for BSC mathematics honours at Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan college Baghpat. The college generally except students who have completed their 12th with subjects like mathematics, physics and chemistry . The eligibility criteria typically include securing a minimum percentage in your 12th examination which is around 50%. To become a government teacher for the Maths subject, first, you need to complete B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) after your B.Tech. Since you are already a graduate in civil engineering, B.Ed will take just 2 years. Choose Maths as your teaching subject in B.Ed.
Also use that time during B.Ed to prepare for exams like CTET and TET.
After that, you clear the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or state-level TET exam to be eligible for government teaching jobs. Some states may have separate teaching exams like KVS, NVS, so prepare for them accordingly.
