Let us take a ? ABC , which CB=a, CA=b&AB=c

So, by triangle law of vector addition, we have a=b+c

And, we know that |a||b|&|c| represent, the sides of ? ABC

Also, it is known that the sum of the length of any slides of a triangle is greater than the third side. |a|<|b|+|c|

Hence, it is not true that |a|=|b|+|c|

4. Given, f (x) = x n > n = positive.

At x = 2,

(x) = n.

limxn f (x) = limxn x n = n

∴ limxn f (x) = f (x)

So f is continuous at x = n.
