It is not a drawback. MBA mainly depends upon the entrance exam, GD/PI. For best college you have to appear for CAT.

ASB usually does not accept distance UG courses. Although we recommend you contact us with your CAT/GMAT/GRE/XAT score at asb@cb.amrita.edu. We will let you know your eligibility.

There are multiple eligibility criteria's to be taken care of for joining MBA at ASB. The eligibility for UG is 50%, this means you have satisfied this UG score criteria. Other criteria's include your CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE and your performance in the interview. MAT scores are accepted in all other campuses except ASB Coimbatore. Good luck!

Both MCA and MBA are good career options provided degree are obtained from good college. If you are technically oriented person and continuously ready to learn new technologies then MCA is right field for you else you go for MBA. Starting salaries of MBA are higher but total earning potential over working life-cycle are similar for both MBA and MCA graduates as software engineer have opportunities to earn and save in foreign exchange also.
